Parliament in the Making
During 2015, Parliament marked a number of important anniversaries: Magna Carta (1215), the Montfort parliament (1265), Agincourt (1415), Waterloo (1815), Sir Winston Churchill’s death (1965) and the first Race Relations Act (1965).
To mark these, Caterina developed the conceptual framework and led the strategic development and delivery of a year-long public engagement programme, Parliament in the Making. This included 100 events and directly reaching one million people.

Commissions
Commissioning 12 visual artists, a national touring folk music programme with EFDSS, a choral tour of Parliament, as well as supporting the Hallé, Oxford Playhouse and the New Carnival Company to participate.
Events, walks & talks
Designing and delivering two national programmes 'LiberTeas' - a democratically themed tea party with over 250 events and 'Festival of Freedoms' a six-week series of over 30 walks, talks, workshops and events celebrating 800 of rights and representation.
Communication
Working closely with MPs and Peers including the Speakers of both Houses – secretariat to advisory groups, briefings for Members, Ministers and Number 10, speech writing.
Strategic partnerships
Developing and managing over 50 new strategic partnerships for Parliament.
Media partnerships
Working with the BBC in the creation and delivery of 'Democracy Day'.
Collaboration
Working with Girlguiding on a new challenge badge - 'Girls Matter: Hear Our Voice' – nearly 14,000 girls took part in year one.
